  just got done watching this program and what impress me the most was the bravery of those x-witnesses to sit there on national tv and tell everyone how the wt.

  cult affected them.

  no hidden faces, no avatar names and no disguise.

  Stonewall the name was always a theme of jokes when I was a kid. Although in the 9th grade in gym class all the boys were broken up into 8 basketball teams and our team was called winners losers. We played a 6 game season and then playoffs. We won them all and got a trophy for it. It was one of my few good memories growing up. What makes me laugh now is how many who see the my name written on forms they will call me everything but Winner. So now when ask for my name I always say David Winner opposite of loser. I always get a laugh out of it. Still Totally ADD aka David

  Oh the irony!!!

  just wanted to share this funny thing.. so we have just been invited to a neighborhood xmas party to be held in the house of a lovely couple around the corner from us.. they bought the house a short time back from a jw who built it and lived there!.

  so, we get to enjoy one of our first xmas parties as a couple, in the former house of a jw!.

  now, that made me giggle.....

  Thank you for all your comments. This Saturday at 6pm we are going to have 3 of our closest friends over to watch the A&E program so they can better understand where we came from and all we had to go through to get where we are now. We told them you will be shocked, mad and crying over what they will see. I am hoping to have several more couples over to see this down the road. The more that know the more they will see the wt.   Just got done watching this program and what impress me the most was the bravery of those x-witnesses to sit there on national tv and tell everyone how the wt. CULT affected them. No hidden faces, no avatar names and no disguise. Just them. That's what I call being courageous despite being shunn.

  So with that in mind my wife and I will no longer hide behind our avatars. At the time they did serve a purpose in protecting our identies but now they are unnecessary. We would like to introduce ourselves as David and Barbara Winner. We are now free from the fear and control of the wt. CULT. So hello everyone.   flipper how right you about a smoker throwing a match away. Back in 2004 we had to leave our house in the middle of the night because someone threw their cigarette out their car window and started a massive fire in our area. After it was all over we drove down the road where the fire started. You could see the exact spot it landed and the fire V'ed out right into the woods. Everyone be safe fire is no th8ng to play with.   so my mum died from mild form of lukemia which can simply be treated with a blood transfusion each month.

  to me this was a watchtower assisted suicide.

  the liaison elder encouraged her to "stay strong" and said a prayer.

  Maybe. Maybe not. The reason I say that is if there is money to be made the cult will not do this. But on the other hand since the GB has replaced God and Jesus to themselves it could happen. As bad as Jonestown was it was less than 1000 people who did drank the cool aid compared to the wt. Cult there is 8,000,000 who would have to do it. By that most likely not. What I feel will happen the wt. will split into 2 or 3 religion's. Then the crazy thinking will spread even more. Still Totally ADD
